Charlotte graduated from Syracuse University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, majoring in painting. While still enjoying watercolor, her main direction has been toward sculpture. She sculpts in various media including stone, wood and clay. Transferring existing works to bronze compliments her fluid style of sculpture. She currently is employed by Art Castings of Loveland CO where she continues to expand her knowledge of the bronze process and is able to do her own finishing work on her pieces.

"I use simplicity of form to determine what is dictated by the medium. By reacting to the material, I create movement. Art is created by the individual's interpretation of a particular piece of work." -Charlotte
