This special square-topped pot was hand made, fired in
the traditional way and is usable! The smoke patterns make
this bean pot a unique and special piece.
Micaceous clay contains a mineral that gives a slightly
sparkly effect to the finished piece. This type of pot is
sturdy and, with care, can be used for years and even for
generations. Some believe that the flavor of casseroles
or beans is enhanced by this type of pot.
