Artist's Bio
I was born and raised in Nassau, Bahamas, but relocated to the smaller island of Abaco in 1993. My love of working with colorful fabric began in childhood. My mother, Joann Sturrup, was a master seamstress who guided me in making doll clothes. I soon graduated to adult clothing and then onto complicated quilt designs. (more bio available)
