Artist's Bio
Mimi Mitchell has travelled and lived in many of the states in this country. Growing up in upstate New York she was greatly influenced by the presence of the natural beauty which surrounded her.

The artistic process is one that has been a life long pursuit for Mimi. The creative process was stimulated in early childhood with the production of mud pies, finely decorated with flowers, sticks, stones and bugs. During the teenage years drawing and painting tools were explored. The discovery of the art of lapidary and silver smithing came next. (more bio available)
