Her Artist bio
The ceramics created by Rasa display ingenuity in both structure and ethnic ornamentation. Rasa Saldaitis (b. 1965) attended the school of art in Vilnius and Leningrad (now St. Peterburg), participated in the annual exhibitions by the young artists in Šiauliai, worked on joint projects and in 1991 established her own company "Ugne" specializing in decorative ceramics. She married in 1994, with her family, including two children moved to the United States, settling in Chicago. (more bio available)
